- One possible nominal design is attached for reference. The U.S. Government is seeking sources who are able to supply HF radio communications, installation, and training for Game Reserve Rangers in the country of Tanzania. The contractor must deliver the following: HF antenna system, at headquarters site Solar power and battery storage for HF radios, at 3 ranger posts, including installation 9 sets of HF SSB mobile base stations, based on 100W Kenwood TK90 or comparable, with solar power and battery storage 4 sets HF SSB fixed base station based on 100W Kenwood TK90 or comparable, with solar power and battery storage, including installation 2 sets of HF antenna installation, for spare vehicles not currently provided with radios 9 sets of HF SSB mobile stations, vehicle mounted, based on 100W Kenwood TK90 or comparable, including installation 10 sets of HF SSB manpack kits based on Vertex Standard VX-1210 or comparable, with portable solar chargers. One session of training for all the above, at headquarters site. One possible nominal design is attached for reference. Interested vendors need not be constrained by the nominal design or any brand name designations in this market survey. It is important that the potential Tanzania user be apprised of a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for this effort. Therefore interested vendors are must submit a non-binding, for information purposes only, ROM giving a very approximate idea of total possible cost. Please submit all responses to the email address provided below no later than 1 April 2016 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement.
