- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE -- The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation for a service requirement for the Keweenaw National Historic Park Calumet Michigan. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P16PS00856. PUBLICIZING: The official Request for Quote (RFQ) and its attachments will be issued and available early-April 2016. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals to grind and remove stumps, install an arborvitae hedge, and install shade trees at the Keweenaw History Center in Calumet, MI. A detailed Statement of Work will be provided with final solicitation documents. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in mid to late-April 2016. Service Contract Act Prevailing Wages for Houghton County Michigan will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance and Price, with Technical sub factors: Landscaping experience and landscaping expertise. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 561730, and the size standard is $7.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. PUBLICIZING: This RFQ will be posted on the FedBid website http://www.fedbid.com/. The contracting office will NOT provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, and quotes will only be accepted through FedBid. REGISTRATION requirements: In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov/, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
