Amendment (B004 (d.) Type of Service: Annual fire prevention and maintance of the sprinkler system at Lindbergh Air Traffic Control Tower located in San Diego, CA. Location(s) of service & Physical Address(es) Federal Aviation Administration Los Angeles District- Lindbergh Air Traffic Control Tower 3690 Pacific Highway San Diego, CA 92101 B002: Performance Time: See PART 1- SECTION F, clause 3.2.2.3-71 starting, performing and completing work. B003. Solicitation Questions: All contractors proposing this project desiring an interpretation or clarification of the Specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Michelle Sites at michelle.sites@faa.gov. Alternately, you may fax your written questions to (858) 573-5594. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The requestor shall provide a company name, point-of-contact name, address and telephone number; as well as a return e-mail address or FAX number. The Administrative Contracting Officer (CO) is the only persons authorized to make clarifications, interpretations, or changes to this solicitation. QUESTIONS ARE DUE by: MARCH 28, 2016 at:12:00 PM PACIFIC Time. B004. Site Visit: There is a mandatory site visit on March 23, 2016 at 09:00 AM PACIFIC Time. Some of the vendors might have been to this site before and do not need to go, new vendors, the Federal Aviation Administration is giving you the opportunity to do a walk through which is extremely encouraged so that you know what is expected. a. The meeting point address for the site visit. Federal Aviation Administration Lindbergh Air Traffic Control Tower 3690 Pacific Highway San Diego, CA 92101 POC: Isidoro Balistreri, Environmental Coordinator (cell) 858 354-5512 Jimmy Lamb, SSC Manager (858) 344-8282 b. The FAA facility escort has been instructed not to answer any questions about the project during the site visit, please do not ask them any. All questions from the site visit must be submitted in writing according to the RFO ™s instructions in Section B, Clause B003 Solicitation Questions (above). The FAA assumes no responsibility for any conclusions or interpretations made by the contractor based on the information received by any means other than in writing from the Contracting Officer. The FAA does not assume responsibility for any understanding reached or representation made concerning conditions, which can affect the work, by any of its officers or agents before the execution of this contract, unless that understanding or representation is expressly stated in the contract. c. To attend the site visit, advance notice by e-mail is required by March 21, 2016 at 12:00 PM PACIFIC Time to the FAA POC identified below. You are required to provide your company representative ™s name. d. Amendment to show: Add CLIN 002 Repack-overhaul maintance in the pump room, perform Yearly inspections. Add: Fire Sprinkler System at Lindbergh Air Traffic Control Tower consists of wet and Pre-access in base and tower of the tower. The tower consists of 10 floors total. The statement of work is directly from the ORDER 6930.1B, FIRE PREVENTION AND MAINTANCE OF FIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT. All of these items need to be met and signed off by the Contracting Officer Representative. Perform yearly inspections in pump room. Advise Contracting Officer Representative on status in writing. The testing frequencies FAA and NFPA 25 Annuals for the following: Wet sprinkler system PRV ™s Pre-action systems Fire Pump Add: In addition to the maintenance listed in FAA ORDER 6930.1B FIRE PREVENTION AND MAINTANCE OF FIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT. Perform all other applicable Annual maintenance, Long Term maintenance, annual Fire pump maintenance tasks and Five year certification tasks set forth in the most current NFPA 25: STANDARD FOR THE INSPECTION, TESTING, AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER-BASED FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS.
