Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Maintenance of Somatom Definition Solicitation Number: VA250-16-P-1133 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes VA Medical Center intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency based on proprietary issues and compatibility requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Siemens Sun Nuclear Corporation, 3275 Suntree Blvd Melbourne, FL 32940 regarding maintenance of the Sun Nuclear Equipment. The Period of Performance would be from 4/1/2016 through 3/31/2017. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
