Description

This notice is to inform the public that pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 21 Network Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to FAS Diagnostic Group for the purchase of Siemens Chemistry reagents to be used by the VA Manila Outpatient Clinic in Manila, Philippines. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal/quotes and a solicitation will not be issued. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the government. Any firms that believe it can provide the stated products can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, Cristina Mae Lansangan, via email to cristina.lansangan@va.gov.This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
