- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for MARKET RESEARCH purposes ONLY. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing supply and material support services, range safety/first aid services, and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) support to assist with the design, fabrication, and construction of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) training aids and training and instruction of EOD operators at Eglin AFB, Florida. All small businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government ™s best interest. This office anticipates award of a contract sometime in Fiscal Year 2016. The NAICS Code is 541618, Other Management Consulting Services, which has a size standard of $15.0 million. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. It is requested that interested vendors submit to the Contracting Office a brief (no more than 2 pages) capabilities statement demonstrating ability to complete the requested work. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE code and a statement regarding small business designation and status; (2) Partnership agreements with any large businesses. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. (3) A list of all applicable current GSA/VA scheduled contracts (if applicable) To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions will NOT be returned. Please provide your response to this sources sought notice by 5:00 p.m. EDT on 08 April 2016 via e-mail to susan.p.griffith@navy.mil. Fax submissions WILL NOT be accepted. Submission of a capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offering, but participation will assist the Government as to the extent of companies available for this procurement. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government does not intend to host an information exchange meeting to discuss this Sources Sought with interested potential respondents.
