- ATTENTION! Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses You are cordially invited Tuesday, April 19, 2016, from 9:00 am - 11:30 am to listen and participate in a panel discussion on USDA's acquisition requirements covering the next 18 to 24 months with special emphasis on requirements that will be of interest to Service Disabled Veteran Owen Businesses (SDVOB). Introductory remarks will be provided by Greg Parham, the Assistant Secretary of Agriculture for Administration (and Chief Acquisition Officer). Other featured speakers will represent the buying agencies of USDA. If you are a SDVOB, then please join us. Seating is limited to 100 attendees. Register at: www.usda.gov/osdbu, and to the left of the screen click on Small Business Connections. The Small Business Connections is an outreach program of USDA's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). Small businesses are invited to attend to network, learn from one another and make critical connections to help expand small businesses interaction with USDA. The Small Business Connections is for your company if: - You wish to expand knowledge of USDA's procurement priorities; - You want to network with other small and large businesses; and - You desire to build relationships with Small Business Specialists. The Small Business Connections events take place in the meeting rooms located in the rear of the South Building Cafeteris from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. These events are free, and pre-registration is required to attend. The USDA South Building is located at 1400 Independence Ave., SW. (We are accessable via Metro: Smithsonian Station). Visitors entrance is located at Wing 3; Independence Ave., SW. Please bring picture identification.
