- Description
- J&A is for a three month extension for contract SP0600-11-M-5107. The contract has been extended through June 30, 2016 via modification P00020. The Defense Logistics Agency - Energy buys petroleum products that are used in support of military operations worldwide. DLA Energy will be soliciting proposals for services to provide sampling and/or laboratory testing of government-owned petroleum products and to report the information gathered as a result of these services to DLA Energy. Services to be provided at Guam are as follows: a. Laboratory Testing of Aviation Turbine Fuel, Grade JP-8 (Specification: MIL-DTL-83133) b. Laboratory Testing of Aviation Turbine Fuel, Grade JP-5 (Specification: MILDTL- 5624). c. Laboratory Testing of Aviation Turbine Fuel, Grade Jet A/A1 (Specification: ASTM D1655) d. Laboratory Testing of Diesel Fuel Oil, Grade No. 1-D & No.2-D (Specification: ASTM D-975). e. Laboratory Testing of Navy Distillate Fuel, F-76 (Specification: MIL-F 16884). f. Laboratory Testing for Sulfides in Bottom Water g. Laboratory Testing of Fuel System Icing Inhibitor (Specification: MIL-DTL-85470) h. Laboratory Testing of Mid-Grade Unleaded Gasoline (Specification: ASTM D4814) i. Laboratory Testing of Lubrication Oil, MIL Symbol 9250 (Specification: MIL-PRF-9000) j. Laboratory Testing of Lubrication Oil, MIL Symbol 2190 (Specification: MILPRF- 17331) k. Laboratory Testing of Marine Residual Fuel Oil, Grade RME-180 (Specification: ISO 8217) l. Laboratory Testing of Reclaimed Fuel Oil (Specification: MIL-PRF-24951) m. The commercial laboratory must be located on the Island of Guam so that samples can be completed within 24-48 hours. n. Transportation of Samples. When testing services are available within commuting distance of the laboratory, the contractor’s price shall include the cost of transportation of samples to the laboratory. o. Testing of U.S. Government-owned fuel products is required 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (including holidays). This solicitation is scheduled to post on or about September 28, 2010. Estimated performance period is one year with 4 one-year options. This procurement will be unrestricted. The solicitation will be published electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website (FedBizOpps). J&A is for a three month extension for contract SP0600-11-M-5107. The contract has been extended through June 30, 2016.
