- Description: This synopsis is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received thru email on 28 March 2016 and also to clarify when proposals should be submitted. Proposals are due by 14:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) on 04/01/2016. Proposal should be valid for 90 days from the date of its submission. Proposals may be submitted via email in NMCI compatible Microsoft or Adobe format to juan.mojica@navy.mil. Email reference ‘Request for Proposal N00178-16-R-2029' in the subject line. Questions Received & Answers: Q22: Due to parts availability of some components in the TU79-AF, could it be replaced by and external SCSI 9 track drive if necessary? A22. Yes, there is also a spare in storage. Q23. How many RZ29B-VA disk drives are in the system, only one is listed? A23. We have total amount of 2. One is a spare. Q24. Are there any additional Alphaserver 4100D servers that are to be supported? A24. No, only Cnode4.
