- Description
- This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. This contract will be awarded to Millennium Engineering and Integration (MEI), 2231 Crystal DR STE 711, Arlington, VA 22202, to provide uninterrupted, systems engineering for hardware and software and simultaneously responsive operational capability and on-demand test/training capability. This effort is currently being performed under contract number HQ0147-11-D-0007 0008 which expires on 8 March 2017. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541712 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The resultant contract for these advisory and assistance services will be a base period of six months. This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in a "bridge" contract which is necessary to allow for continuity of critical contractor services until a competitive contract is awarded under the Technical Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) acquisition strategy. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition in a future competitive procurement. All responses must be received no later than April 15, 2016, 2:00 pm, central time and should be submitted to Lt Col Andrew Nordin, Contract Specialist, via email at andrew.nordin@mda.mil.
