- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has a requirement for EA-18G Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) System Enhancement non-recurring. This effort will consist of design, development, and integration of modifications to the AEA system. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the effort as a sole source contract with The Boeing Company (Boeing), St. Louis, MO. Award of the order will be made with authority under FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. As the original equipment manufacturer for the EA-18G and integrator of the AEA system, Boeing has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement within the time required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Responsible sources may submit a Statement of Capability and Qualifications in response to this notice demonstrating the ability to perform the Government's requirement. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
