- Q and A Amend 1 Amendment 1 Questions and Answers Question 1. When is the start date / period of performance?; Answer: The start date for this contract will be one week after award date or approximately 19 April 2016. Periods of performance are already described in the PWS. Question 2. Provide clarification on the Mini-excavator bucket size; Answer: The smaller bucket required may vary by plus or minus three inches from the 24 inches stated in the PWS. The larger bucket must be a minimum of 36". Both must have teeth. Question 3. What is the number of expected monthly hours of use?; Answer: Approximately 50 hours a month initially with the possibility of 80 hours per month starting in September (if the contract lasts that long). Question 4. Clarification on the Overall width of the desired Mini-excavator. Answer: Mini-Excavator must be less than 78 inches wide.
