Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7 intends to enter into sole source procurement with American Red Cross, for a Blood and Blood Products for the Ralph H. Johnson VA MC, 109 Bee Street, Charleston SC 29401. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 621991 with a business standard of $32.5. The proposed contract is for Blood and Blood Products which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested sources may submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates ability to meet the requirements by submitting their interest in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing via email to clay.jones@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 PM, Central Standard Time on Monday, April 11, 2016. ~~~End~~~
