Description
Industry Day Amendment 0001 The purpose of this amendment is to highlight a change in paragraph (c) regarding transportation to the facilities tour. The following statement has been deleted from paragraph (c), " The attendees that plan to attend the facilities tour will be met by a government employee (TBD) at the visitor's center, per guidelines, in order to sponsor them onto the base" and replaced with " Transportation will be provided by the logistics section, after lunch, for the individuals that plan on attending the facilities tour." Industry Day - C2ISR Enterprise Contracted Logistics Support (ECLS) (a) The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), C2ISR Division (HBG), Logistics Section (HBGML) at Robins Air Force Base, (RAFB) Georgia has a requirement for providing logistic support services for task-oriented Enterprise Contracted Logistics Support (ECLS) weapon systems sustainment. The preponderance of work performed will be at this location with occasional travel requirements to support field sites in both CONUS and International locations. Current weapon systems supported by this effort will include the U-2 aircraft, the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), Special Projects, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and associated support systems. We are establishing an enterprise approach for accomplishing effective Supply Chain Management (SCM) to provide global logistics support to the war fighter. The ECLS performance tasks include functioning as the Service Provider (SP) at the enterprise level for Materiel Management, Warehousing and related SCM activities as identified by the C2ISR weapon systems. Additionally, technical support of sustainment activities associated with product support of weapon system inventory of the kind provided by a technical/sustainment analyst will be required. An essential component of the ECLS effort is to use the web-based Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS) and/or other DoD approved supply support systems (e.g., D200 [Requirements Management System], D035 [Stock Control and Distribution System], D043 [Master Item Identification Control System]). These logistics support systems will be used to track material usage, provide historical data, determine stocking levels, and provide stock control and distribution functionality for both national stock number and part number peculiar items for wholesale and retail distribution. Only experienced logistics personnel will be considered for this effort. All positions require a minimum of a Secret clearance, while some positions in a particular program may require access at the Top Secret clearance level. Foreign companies, as a prime, partner or subcontractor, are excluded from participating in this effort. (b) An Industry Day will be held Friday, 15 April 2016 from 0830-1130 at Robins AFB GA, Museum of Aviation, Eagle Building, Eagle Conference Room (3rd Floor). Activities will include overview of requirement (along with a Q&A session) and a site visit of the facility. The tour of the facility will be conducted f rom 1300-1400 that afternoon. Attendance will be limited during the morning session at the museum to two attendees per company. Attendance for the tour of the facility in the afternoon will be limited to one per company. (c) Submit names of all attendees not to exceed two (2) per contractor to Todd Stimus, AFLCMC/HBKAA, Robins AFB, GA, via email at todd.stimus@us.af.mil not later than 3:00 PM (EST) 5 April 2016. Each attendee must provide two forms of ID, vehicle registration (or rental agreement) and insurance, on hand, the day of arrival in order to gain access onto Robins Air Force Base. Each company's security manager must submit the name of the employee (limited to one employee per company) planning to attend the facilities tour and a visit request through Joint Personnel Adjudication System (SMO Code RX1MFPTK6) in order to gain entry to the facility. Transportation will be provided by the logistics section, after lunch, for the individuals that plan on attending the facilities tour. *Note: Please see the link provided below for JPAS submission and related procedures. http://www.dss.mil/diss/jpas/jpas.html (d) Participants are requested to submit any questions pertaining to the site visit to todd.stimus.us.af.mil and benjamin.walker.9@us.af.mil not later than 3:00 PM (EST) 11 April 2016.
