PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED. SUBJECT: SERVICES TO PROVIDE HAZARDOUS WASTE PICK-UP, TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL SERVICES. NAICS CODE: 562211: HAZARDOUS WASTE TREATMENT AND DISPOSAL SOLICITATION NO: M67004-16-Q-1020 This is a Sources Sought Announcement. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and does not serve to bind the U.S. Government in any way. Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for costs associated with preparation of their responses. The United States Marine Corps, Blount Island Command is hereby conducting a Sources Sought Market Survey in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential firms that have the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities required to perform the following potential requirement: Contractor shall provide Biomedical hazardous waste pickup, treatment and disposal services for the waste generated at the Command �s nursing office and first aid office. Contractor shall complete and provide hazardous manifests and Land Disposal Restriction (LDR) documents for waste for review and changes prior to scheduling shipment. Contractor shall provide copies of current facility operating permits, licenses and insurance showing they are authorized to provide services requested under this contract Contractor shall provide transportation from Blount Island Command to the permitted Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (TSDF) and comply with all local, state and federal regulations. All interested firms must be able to perform the services as identified on the attached �FOR INFORMATION ONLY �. The Government makes no representations that all of the services listed within the attached �FOR INFORMATION ONLY �. This Sources Sought market Survey is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this source sought announcement. Your response to this sources sought announcement will be treated only as information for the Government sources sought market survey. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. As of the date of this sources sought announcement, no funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the Government in developing its acquisition strategy and Performance Work Statement for a future contract. This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of a competitive process. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. All expressions of interest submitted shall be accompanied by written evidence and demonstration of the firm �s ability to perform the required work. All responses to this Sources Sought Announcement shall include the following: (1) Statement of Interest: (2) firm �s unequivocal capability to perform services. (3) Business Size; and (4) all relevant federal and commercial contract history performing similar services. This Sources Sought Announcement serves as Market Research only, not a firm commitment on the part of the U.S. Government nor does it constitute an order. Response deadline is by 0500 PM (EST), 06 Apr 2016.
