- Dry Dock Plans is is a Sources Sought Notice. This Sources Sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Notice is in support of a market survey being conducted by the St. Louis District, Corps of Engineers to identify interested Contractors within the District area for the Scope of Work listed below. The following are general capabilities required to perform the Scope of Work according to USACE standards. The Contractor must be capable to perform the Scope of Work listed below. General Project Description: The U.S. Army Reserve/88th RSC is located in Tacoma, Washington, at 401 Alexander Ave., Pier 23, Tacoma, WA 98421. The Army Reserve has several watercraft moored at this location, one of the watercraft being a large tug boat, LT-802. This large tug requires a dry dock to perform periodic and emergency maintenance. A.) Work Statement - U.S. Army Reserve Large Tug: The pending work required herein consists of furnishing the rental of all plant, equipment, and material to perform all operations necessary for dry docking of U.S. Army Reserve Vessel LT-802. All equipment to be used for the work must be capable of safely dry docking the vessel. The work will require coordination between the contractor and the contracting officer representative for scheduling purposes to perform work. The contract area consists LT-802, which is a U.S. Army Reserve Large Tug. The blocking plan for the vessel is attached. The vessel will be brought to the location of the dry dock for maintenance to take place. B.) Capability Statements: Note: Under capability statements below, in addition to listing general experience, specifically include a listing of any USACE projects on which you demonstrated the required capability, including large equipment projects. 1. Briefly explain your experience with dry docking vessels, specifically large tug boats and Army vessels. C.)
