- The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to perform dockside repairs of the USCGC STRATTON (WMSL 752), a 418 foot National Security Cutter home ported at Coast Guard Island, Alameda CA. The planned period of performance will be on or about September 30,2016 through December 23, 2016. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for award. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine the method of procurement including whether to set-aside the procurement for small business or other set-aside programs. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Cutter's home port on Coast Guard Island, Alameda CA. GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTION - None SAMPLING OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Fixed CO2, FM 200 and Ansul R-102 Systems Annual Certification; Water Mist Fire Extinguishing System, Inspect And Biennial Test; Carriage and Centerline Winch, Inspection and Test; Grey Water Holding Tanks, and Lift Stations, Clean and Inspect; Flight Deck Net, Weight Testing; Flight Deck Nets, Renew; Tenting, Provide; Grey Water Holding Tanks, and Lift Stations, Preserve "100%"; Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier; Surfaces, Preserve; Cofferdam, Install; Auxiliary Seawater Piping, Modify; Stern Launch and Recovery Lights, Instal; Anchor Windlass Level 2 Inspect and Repair; Deck Covering (Slip-Resistant), Renew; Piping Systems Insulation, Renew; Decks, Preserve; Deck Covering (Polymeric), Seal; Watermist Tanks preserve 100%; Watermist Tanks preserve "Partial". Interested parties must submit the following: (a) Company name, business size status (i.e., small, large, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) (b) Capability to perform work similar to the above work items. (c) Past performance information to demonstrate successful completion as a prime contractor of projects similar in scope and complexity to the work items above.
