Description

The purpose of the FedBizOpps (FBO) Notice is to update interested vendors on the acquisition strategy for the VA Community Care Choice Program Implementation Support requirement. a.On December 3, 2015, the Government issued a Request for Information (RFI), VA119A-16-N-0056, to FBO to identify and locate vendors with the necessary experience and capacity to successfully compete for this requirement. The RFI included a draft version of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and requested that vendors provide capability statements to reflect current capability to perform the work. b.Based upon an assessment of the RFI responses, the Government will solicit for the needed services against GSA's Professional Services Schedule (PSS) using the procedures in FAR 8.404. While the requirement is not set-aside for any particular socio-economic category, minimum small business participation requirements will apply. c.The current anticipated release of the solicitation is mid- to late-April, 2016. No comments or additional input is requested at this time. To those vendors that responded to the Request for Information, VA thanks you for your interest in supporting our Nation's Veterans.
