Notice Number: NB193000-16-00753ss Title: Preventative and Emergency Maintenance Service for Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) NAICS Code: 238210 National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST) is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research, pursuant to FAR Part 10 Market Research, to identify potential parties capable of performing Preventative and Emergency Maintenance Service on ANY or ALL Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems identified in the sources sought. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY, not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify organizations with the capabilities to provide the services stated herein. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. WOSB, HUBZone, and VOSB and SDVOSB are encouraged to respond to this notice. BACKGROUND NIST has several small to medium size UPS systems installed in various locations on campus that supply uninterrupted clean power to critical loads on campus. The purpose of these systems is to provide power long enough to permit a controlled shut down in the unlikely event of a total loss of utility power. The UPS systems requires a preventative and emergency maintenance service plan. The service plans shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the work performed on the equipment shall be performed by OEM factory trained personnel. Type of business (small, large, etc.) with a brief summary of the company, of no more than 3 paragraphs. 3. Evidence that the interested party is fully capable of providing the required service and supplies for ANY or ALL UPS Systems and as such may contain any information that the interested party feels is relevant. 4. Please address any concerns that you have pertaining to this notice that should be clarified by the Government prior to the issuance of a solicitation. NOTE: The total number of pages to reply to this source sought shall not exceed 10 pages double-sided and shall be submitted via https://www.FBO.gov. No other capability statements will be accepted.
