In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation part 10.002(iii) the U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to identify commercially available market sources capable of providing Spare Parts with full traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)’s, Aeritalia Societa' Aerospaziale Italiana SPA (Cage Code A3459) and Airbus Helicopter France (Cage Code F0210). Vendors are requested to read the RFI in its entirety to ensure information submittals are complete. Specific components are listed below. Nomenclature: Cage Code: A3459 NSNP/N Gear Rotor Brake1615-15-119-3112 360A32-3026-21 Nomenclature: Cage Code: F0210NSNP/N Housing, FW LH 5340-14-389-4434365A35-1010-25Z Box FWD ASSY 1615-14-376-0239366A32-1022-01 Bearing Seat 3130-01-HS1-4605360A32-3162-03 MGB, SUPT, RH FWD LH 1615-14-563-7941365A38-0130-03 Ring Bevel Gear 3020-14-389-4416365A32-1058-22 Ejector 1560-14-397-1427366A52-0111-02 Responses should include the following: a) name and address of contractor; b) Cage Code, c) point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address; d) list of all items that can be provided with full traceability to the OEMs; e) state whether the business is currently classified as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small business in terms of the NAICS code 336413, f) GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the Coast Guard with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement. The NAICS code is 336413 and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses should be submitted to Isaac.L.Brothers@uscg.mil. Responses must be received no later than 12 April 2016 at 1:15 PM EST. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as one. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this RFI for award purposes. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resulting future solicitation where quotes or proposals will be requested. There is no date set for a resulting solicitation or if a solicitation will be issued. All submitted materials will be designated for Government Use Only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow up information requests.
