Description
DRAFT SOURCES SOUGHT The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to determine the interest and capability of sources for a potential 100% Small Business set-aside. Interested parties should have the resources to clean and repair Fire PPE equipment along with have the capabilities to clean chemical suits (jacket and trousers). The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 812320. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information is issued for planning purposes and does not constitute a request for proposals. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, business address, email address, Web site address, if applicable, telephone number, and size and CAGE code for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation. The government will assess market information to ascertain potential market capacity to 1) provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated; 2) secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements; 3) implement a successful project management plan that includes: compliance with tight program schedules; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance; providing key supervisory personnel and risk mitigation. Note: It is highly recommended that prospective contractors be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database as registration is required for the contract awardee. Registration requires applicants to have a Commercial and Government Entry Code (CAGE) and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration usually takes up to five (5) days to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to prevent any delays. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 1300 pm, 13 April 2016. Work includes provideing all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management and other incidentals necessary to meet the following requirements. Service will include pickup, cleaning/repair, and drop off of structural turnouts for the Nellis AFB Fire Department on a Monthly basis. As a separate part of this requirement, pickup, dropoff, and industrial laundering of chemical training suites will be required at a separate location on Nellis AFB.
