- SYNOPSIS: CT Scanner Repair This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of a CT Scanner Repair. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed procurement will be a sole source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 811219: Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Repair and Maintenance Service. Business size standard for NAICS 811219 is $20.5 M. FSC code: J066 - Maintenance and Repair of Instruments and Laboratory Equipment. Delivery Schedule: 28 April, 2016 Delivery Destination: Medical Materiel Bldg 830 Area A 4881 Sugar Maple Dr. Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Requirement: The 88th MDG War Reserve Material (WRM) is requesting the repair of our Scanning System, Computed Tomography, Axial (Brilliance 64) manufactured by Philips Medical Systems. The repair will need to meet the below specifications. - Travel to and from our location for onsite repair - Remove the broken BR64 Tile Detector Module- Class A (part# 459800594811) and replace with new BR64 Tile Detector Module - Testing of module once installed and recalibration of the CT Scanner to ensure proper operation - 60 day warranty on parts and labor with option to purchase an extended warranty if needed - Company will provide customer support as needed for the product for trouble shooting if required. We are required to have this completed NLT 28 April 2016 to bring this assemblage back to deployable status. The proposed source is Philips Healthcare, 22100 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell WA 98021. This procurement will not be competed because the aforementioned company, Philips Healthcare, holds proprietary rights and patents for the design of all hardware and software manufactured by Philips Healthcare. The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the System for Award Management (SAM) to be the single point of DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the government.
