Description

SF18 U.S. Government ~ Tax Exempt Solicitation Information All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Maria Sproul at maria.sproul@navy.mil no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on 14 April 2016. Solicitation N00421-16-T-0234 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Ballard Technology, Inc. for AB3000 P/N: AB3260H2, Lab Connectivity Kit P/N: 17039, Mating Connector Set P/N: 17037, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). Ballard Technology is the only known source for this requirement. The AB300 series rugged computer is a trademark of Ballard Technology, Inc., limiting competition. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) formerly Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This maybe be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. See attached RFQ This is firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offerors initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. ***Basis for Award*** The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis. All interested parties MUST submit their capabilities and a quote no later than 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time on 14 April 2016. The Government will make a decision to consider other offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract based upon response to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors must complete the attached certification in Section K of this solicitation, 52.209-11, Representation by Corporations Regarding Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Conviction under any Federal Law. Please provide the completed certification with your offer.
