- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contract resulting from this procurement will be a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation SP0600-16-Q-0244 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13, specifically subpart 13.5 Simplified procedures for Certain Commercial items. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-87 dated 16 March 2016. DPAS rating for potential award is DO. Schedule CLIN 0001 Nomenclature: Existent Gum Bath, Jet Fuel Unit of Issue: EA Quantity: 0001 Description: Shall adhere to ASTM D381, Gum Content in Fuels by Jet Evaporation. Must have 6 sample positions or stations - no more, no less. Should be constructed of a machined aluminum block with multiple cartridge heaters. Must have a pressure regulator and an air flowmeter built-in as a single unit. Must be 220-240V, 50/60Hz, Single Phase, and not more than 15A. Dimensions must less than 29"Lx21"Wx17"D to accommodate available space.
