Description

This solicitation is a "SOURCES SOUGHT" only. This is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. This request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this solicitation will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing full bi-annual preventative maintenance services on four Philips ultrasound units located at the Syracuse VA Medical Center at 800 Irving Avenue in Syracuse NY 13210 and one (1) EPIQ 7 unit located at the Rome CBOC located at 125 Brookley Rd. in Rome, NY 13441. The contractor shall provide a one (1) time service on the Philips ultrasound units providing all necessary labor and materials for VA owned Philips ultrasounds to be completed by 04/15/2015. Service would include two (2) preventative maintenance service, parts, and labor. The contractor shall provide a no charge invoice summarizing the repair and maintenance of the ultrasound equipment. All work shall be done by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) trained technicians and shall only use new OEM parts. Any additional required repairs to fix problems identified during the service are not covered under this contract and shall be procured separately. The contract action shall be for a Base Year with four (4) Option Years.
