- N65236-16-Q-1220 Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Atlantic (SSC Atlantic) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to FREQUENTIS DEFENSE, INC. 9017 Red Branch Road, SUITE 2018, Columbia, MD 21045. FREQUENTIS DEFENSE, INC. is the OEM for this requirement; FREQUENTIS DEFENSE INC. designed the requirement for shipboard use. Using the OEM ensures compatibility and that the requirement meets form, fit, and function as well as the characteristics and standards of the existing equipment. The items need to fit in the specific spaces, and must be exactly the size and shape designated. The items also need to be wired in specific manner, so as to operate properly with the electronic equipment they are used in conjunction with. The OEM, FREQUENTIS DEFENSE INC., possesses the expertise and knowledge of the design and configuration. To change designs would require a significant amount of testing above and beyond current planned testing, and would cost the government additional time, and funds. FREQUENTIS DEFENSE INC. holds the patent, copyright, and is proprietary manufacturer. No substitute or alternate vendors will be accepted for the procurement. The requirements are as follows: CLIN 001 FREQUENTIS DEFENSE INC. PART# 70-0001321 SATCC Test Bed Maintenance Upgrade Kit DELIVERY St. JULIENS CREEK ANNEX, PORTSMOUTH, VA This notice is a not a request for competitive quotes, it is a notice of intent, but the Government will accept quotes from all responsible small business sources with the capability to provide the support and will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Quotes are due by 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, April 21st, 2016. No electronic or hard copy Request for Quotes will be prepared or made available for distribution.. Please include the following information on your quote: Payment Terms; FOB Point and Shipping costs if applicable; delivery date; Tax ID Number; Cage Code; POC e-mail address. The Government will accept proposals via email at: michelle.c.mcdonald@navy.mil. This action is conducted under FAR Part 13. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 517919. All responding vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting invoices for payment. Information to register can be found at www.sam.gov.
