- Description
- The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends procure a membership subscription to receive access to the Lux Research Member Site on a sole source basis. Science-driven innovation is a cross-cutting key to success in today's business and commercial environment. In an increasingly crowded competitive landscape, decision makers need critical advice about markets, technologies, and strategy - both to position NSF in assessing small business innovation research funding of existing business for growth and to support new startups wisely. Emerging technology fields are fertile hunting grounds for new small business funding opportunities, and corporate executives, investors, policymakers, funding agencies and entrepreneurs across many industries look to these areas to drive growth. Whether it is cleantech or conventional oil and gas, advanced aerospace or consumer packaged goods, electronics or agriculture, emerging technology markets are uniquely challenging to understand and to take advantage of - Lux Research analysts are specialists in understanding and assessing complex and rapidly-changing technology fields and such reliable market information is important to have on hand in making effective forward looking funding decisions. Under this order, NSF will receive access to all archived and upcoming documents through the site as well as through bi-weekly journals. The subscription will provide access for one (1) primary member and eleven (11) additional members to Lux Research services. The period of performance for the subscription services is the date of award through one year. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
