- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (OPM-MAS), is issuing a market survey for potential sources within the National Technology and Industrial Base (NTIB) for the following items: 1.14.5x115mm API 2.14.5x115mm API-T 3.14.5x115mm Ball 4.14.5x115mm Tracer 5.12.7x108mm Ball 6.12.7x108mm Tracer 7.7.62x54mm Ball 8.7.62x54mm Tracer 9.7.62x39mm Ball 10.7.62x39mm Tracer SPECIFICATIONS: Items 1 through 10 above shall be procured via the General Specification for Non Standard Ammunition, dated 2 Nov. 2015 and the General Specification for Non Standard Small Caliber Ammunition, dated 2 Nov. 2015. The General Specifications are Distribution Statement A - Approved for public release; distribution unlimited. PLANNED ACQUISITION: This notice is being issued for informational purposes only and is not a solicitation nor does it obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. SUBMISSION INFORMATION: All responsible, interested sources responding to this notice shall include information regarding their capability and capacity to provide any of the above items, including a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) price estimate for the items Assume CONUS delivery as well as CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) for the ROM. Respondents are also requested to provide their production capabilities for these munitions and must exhibit the skills and facilities required to manufacture these items within the NTIB. Interested sources who have the necessary capabilities should respond by providing the following information: 1. Description of current production facility, 2. Related manufacturing experience to include these items and/or similar items, 3. Production lead time for each of the items, 4.Estimated maximum monthly production quantities for each of the items. Please note: Reverse engineering of these munitions will not be allowed. The capabilities should be made possible through licensing agreements with current producers. Respondents shall include the Partner or government agency name that will be providing the licensing for this product and any licensing agreements that are currently in place with existing producers for these items. Also, request that the U.S. producer state whether or not they are willing to act as a sub-contractor to one of the U.S. Government's Non Standard Ammunition Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders. For informational purposes, the current BOA holders are Alliant Techsystems Inc (ATK), ARMA Global, Chemring Military Products (CMP), Multinational Defense Services (MDS) or General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GDOTS).
