- Description
- This requirement is for a contractor to provide nonpersonal services to the Anniston Army Depot. This acquisition is sole sourced to Heat Treating Services Unlimited, Inc. 1100 Thousand Oaks BLVD Greenville, SC 29607-5643. Any organization which believes itself to be in possession of these capabilities can provide written evidence to this effect to the Contract Specialist, and may be considered for future procurements. The services shall include on-site preventive maintenance and emergency repair services for the Government Owned AFC – Holcroft Furnace Units, located at the Anniston Army Depot facility. The on-site preventive maintenance and emergency repair support coverage shall be for a one-year base period beginning at contract award, plus four one-year options. The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance (PM), hot and cold inspections, temperature uniformity surveys, system accuracy test (i.e. instrument/thermocouple combination), calibration documentation, technical support and emergency repair for the Government Owned AFC – Holcroft Furnace Units located at the Anniston Army Depot facility. Any instrumentation, Programmable Logic Controller, and or programming associated with the functioning of the equipment shall be considered part of the equipment and included in the contracted services. On call emergency services shall become effective upon contract award. Hot and cold inspections and uniformity surveys will be performed in mid-summer and mid-winter of each year. This equipment is located in Building 108 at Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL. 36201-4199. North American Industry Classification System Code is 333994 and the associated size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://www.fbo.gov. Estimated issue date is 18 April 2016. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
