- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Tentative solicitation release date is 25 April 2016. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to complete JFSD201312 "Repair 69 MXS Mission Areas B607" at Grand Forks AFB, ND, in strict accordance with the construction documents. The contractor shall perform Construction which consists of comprehensive reconfiguration and repair of office areas. The work required to be performed by the contractor consists of: adding a vestibule and canopy at east exterior entry door, mitigating asbestos and lead-based paint, reconfiguring fire suppression system and heads as required. The project also contains replacement of HVAC systems including ducts, variable air volume units, air handlers, and controls, replacement of electrical and communication systems, installation of blast rated entry doors with associated structure, and all other support construction as required. The magnitude of this contract is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The construction period of performance for this project is 182 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business standard of $36.5M. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business. All contractors MUST be registered in the SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) database or their proposal May NOT be considered for award. Contractors can obtain further information on the SAM database at the website https://www.sam.gov. This solicitation will only be available by downloading the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies or CD-ROMS will be issued.
