Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). All information gathered in response to this RFI/Notice will be used solely for planning purposes. This is not a formal solicitation, but a request for interested parties to provide information. No solicitation published by this office for these products currently exists. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport is planning for a potential acquisition for Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) quartz angular rate sensors, part number PESK-6946. The Government's intent is to sole source to Systron Donner Inertial, Inc. for a firm fixed price supply contract. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this request for information. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511 and has a size standard of 1,250 employees. All questions regarding this RFI should be submitted in writing, no later than Apr 21, 2016 1:00 pm Pacific. Questions should be submitted via e-mail to: robert.v.fisher@navy.mil.
