The purpose of this amendment to this combined synopsis/solicitation is to provide answers to questions received in response to this combined/synopsis solicitation. Question 1. Does the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under solicitation number VA248-16-Q-0809 contain requirements similar to a current contract? If possible, please provide the current contract number. Or, is this a new requirement for the government? Answer 1. Yes. The contract number is VA248-P-1585. Question 2. Can we visit the clinics listed in the solicitation? Answer 2. Is the I.P.M. equipment currently installed in the V.A. clinics will remain in place so the new company who receive the contract be able to use them for the I.P.M. need it for the clinics ? Answer 3. The word "equipment" as used in this contract is defined as contractor is not responsible or required to make any repairs or alteration to the permanently installed structure within the facility. However, contractor is responsible to replenish, maintain the "equipment", provide supplies and inform the government when equipment is not operational.
