- The Marine Corps Base Property Division at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, N.C. has a requirement for Multi-Function Chairs aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, NC. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) on or around April 12, 2016. The anticipated procurement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price contract. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR Part 13, Commercial Items. The Government intends to award to the quoter who represents the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) to the Government. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as an unrestricted requirement. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) for this requirement is 337124, Metal Household Furniture Manufacturing. The business size standard is 750. Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Information on registering in SAM may be obtained by calling (866) 606-8220 or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
