- Partial PWS for RFI THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT. The information provided in this document is provided as information only. US Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest (DSW) Region located in Phoenix, Arizona is conducting market research to identify potential business sources (including 8(a), veteran-owned small business, service-disable veteran-owned small business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business concerns and other than small businesses) with the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully perform the requirement described herein. Current services are being provided by a large business. This Sources Sought is for MICROWAVE TOWER INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE SERVICES The full Statement of Work (SOW) is also attached. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The Government will use responses to this Sources Sought Notice to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541350, "Building Inspection Services." Interested parties which do not agree with this NAICS code listed above are shall submit the NAICS code #______________ they believe is correct to the contracting officer along with provided information below. Proprietary data will be protected when so designated. Acknowledgement of receipt will not be made. Availability of any formal solicitation will be announced separately. This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP), invitation for bid (IFB), or an announcement of a solicitation as no solicitation package exists at this time. No cost data should be submitted. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. Submittal will not be returned to the sender. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. DSW WAPA will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning only. Interested firms must demonstrate in their capability statement that they are qualified to perform the work under this NAICS code. U.S. Department of Energy, Desert South West region covers various regions over a large geographical within Arizona, Nevada and Southern California. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR 100% SMALL BUSINESS. Solicitations may be posted after receiving more information and acquisition decision will be made, and only one award will be made to the specified solicitation. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
