Description
This solicitation is the revision of the previous High Mast Lights (Upgrade) solicitation number RFQP04141600006. Please review the entire solicitation along with the specifications carefully and fully before submitting your quote. Please see the initial pre-solicitation below. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation RFQP04141600006 for the provision of a High Mast Lights (Upgrade) for inmates at the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners located in Springfield, Missouri. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, MO. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. Under the resulting contract, a single purchase order (PO) will be issued as a purchase request or purchase card acquisition form to place the order. The supplies will consist of LED high mast light fixture, 100' tall high mast light poles with custom base to match existing footing and bolt pattern, Portable drive units and a representative on-site visit. The delivery of all supplies will be at one location, outside the secure perimeter fence and will be coordinated with the Facilities Department at least two weeks prior to actual delivery. The Government will be responsible for all labor and equipment to unload supplies and installation. The solicitation will be available on or about April 13, 2016 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The deadline for receipt of quotes is on April 22, 2016. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government are advised that this future solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-5 (Apr 2005) for Commercial Items and System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov. Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database. The acquisition is restricted to 8(a) small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 335122 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
