FedBizOps Posting -Presolicitation Solicitation Number: Agency: Department of the Army Office: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Location: U.S. Army Engineer District Mobile Category X (Lease or rental of facilities), NAISC Code 531 The Department of the Army seeks to lease approximately 20,000 ANSI/BONA area square feet of contiguous free standing office and related space in Doral, Florida REQUIREMENT: The Department of the Army seeks to lease approximately 17,000 useable square feet of warehouse space, with an additional 3,000 square feet of office space within the warehouse to accommodate 15 employees, along with 20 designated parking spaces which is required for privately owned and government vehicles within the area of Doral, Florida. The building must meet current force protection setback requirements. Requested space must be fully serviced and in a building that can be customized to meet the Government's needs and security requirements. The warehouse must be at least 20' high, contain at least 5 bay doors with 10'x9' clearance and include a concrete ramp. Interior of warehouse must be fenced in order to separate accountability items, and have 2 security cages installed to store controlled items. The building must meet Federal Government standards for fire safety, energy star compliant, ADA compliant, and be located outside a 100 year floodplain. The intended use is for a US Army supply warehouse. Space offered must have potential for efficient layout and be ready for occupancy by May 1, 2016. DELINEATED AREA: The space must be located within the following: Area East of NW 97th Avenue, West of NW 87th Avenue, North of NW 33rd Street and South of NW 36th Street within Doral, Florida. LEASE TERM: The lease term is one (1) year firm term, with four (4) option years. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: If you desire to submit a location for consideration, please forward information in writing, or by email, by 5:00 PM CST, April 8, 2016. Expressions of interest should include the following: 1) Building name and address 2) Legal description 3) Valuation of building 4) 1/8 inch scale drawing of space offered or site plan 5) Rentable square feet offered and rentable rate per square foot (specifying services and utilities included) 6) Amount of exclusive use parking available on site 7) Contact information for owner or authorized agent. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building ownership.
