THIS IS A COMBINED ANNOUNCEMENT/SOLICITATION. The National Park Service is issuing a solicitation for a commercial service contract to repair the vessel: The Charles F. Mercer (canal boat) located in Great Falls, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811490, with a size standard of $7.5 million. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside The Solicitation Number is P16PS00989 One firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Department of Labor Service Wage Rates for Montgomery County, MD will apply. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN SAM.GOV TO RECEIVE AWARD. Site visit will be held on Thursday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m. Meet at Great Falls Tavern Visitor Center, 11710 MacArthur Blvd., Potomac, MD 20854 Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the boat and ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications and performance.
