Sources Sought Demolition of North Unit Visitors Center Structure at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Watford City, North Dakota. The National Park Service, MWR NEKOTA MABO is seeking contractors interested in performing demolition and restoration services at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit, Watford City (McKenzie County), North Dakota. This is Not a Solicitation, and therefore, we will not accept any formal offers resulting for this Sources Sought notification. The specification is still under final review and development, and the park service may or may not receive funding to complete this demolition project this fiscal year. We are interested in determining contractor interest in supporting a demolition project at this location. The target NAICS code for this project is 238910 with a small business size standard of $15M. Overview: This project will include all work and planning to demolish and remove a condemned structure and lead-in sidewalks, built in the 1980s that has been condemned. The building is approximately 4,344 SF including a basement area. The objective of this project is to restore the existing site to its original ground condition. All foundations, walls, basements, floors, steps, concrete slabs, curbs, sidewalks, steps, porches, fences, trash and debris, concrete rubble, steel or wood pilings, reinforcement rebar and wire mesh, drains, stone masonry and any other material or manmade construction that is not of the natural environment. Final grading, raking, and re-vegetative efforts will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall provide backfill, compaction, grading, suitable topsoil, and seeding in all excavated or disturbed areas to establish vegetative cover. Interested salvage contractors should provide the following information as a response if interested: Full Company Name, Contact Information, DUNS number, and Small Business category to include appropriate socio-economic classifications the business may be qualified under. This is Not a Solicitation but intended as a market research tool to acquire additional information about potential contractors that may be interested in performing building salvage and grounds restoration work in Western North Dakota.
