Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, (FAR) Subpart 5.2, the Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) issues the Notice of Proposed Contract Action. Pursuant with the Veterans First Contracting Program and the Authority under 38 USC 8127-8128 (Sections 502 and 503 of Public Law (P.L.) 109-461), FAR Part 6.302-5(b) (6), and VAAR 819.7007, The Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract to a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) for project "Reconfigure SPS Decontamination Room". This is not a solicitation and does not constitute a commitment or an obligation by the government. This notice is not a request for offers, quotes or proposals but represents upcoming construction work. Project No. /Title: Project No. 675-16-807, Reconfigure SPS Decontamination Room Project location: Lake Nona Orlando VAMC, Orlando, Florida. Project Magnitude: $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. NAICS Code: 236220 Size Standard: $36.5 Million Project Overview: This project will reconfigure the existing TTE room 3L607 to a Gastrointestinal (GI) Sterile Processing Service (SPS) decontamination room at the Lake Nona Orlando VAMC. The renovation will include ceiling grid removal and non-porous hard ceiling installation. Wall finish shall be brought up to proper specifications of washable surface, and the current benches, cabinets, and sinks shall be reconfigured. Ceilings and floors must be wipe able in decontamination areas. The current ceiling does not meet these requirements. It is imperative to provide a compliant ceiling and appropriate flooring top coat. Reference System for Award Management, (SAM): By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM) at the time of proposal submission and at the time of award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors must ensure their registration is correct, current and has not expired. Reference Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) program: To be considered for award, all prospective offerors must be in compliance with VAAR 819.7003 and be verified for eligibility in the VIP database at www.vetbiz.gov, on the date and time proposals are due and at the time of award. Interested SDVOSB firms must be certified in vetbiz.gov, at the time of proposal submission and at the time of award. Lack of registration in the VIP database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Ensure your registration is correct, current and has not expired. All questions should be address to John E.
