- 1)This notice is for personnel protective equipment Services is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The procurement includes services to provide personnel, equipment and materials to fit measure approximately one hundred sixty-four (164) personnel in Temple and Waco and provide weekly commercial cleaning, pressing and servicing of provided garments. 2)This solicitation, VA257-16-Q-0085, is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in anticipation of a firm fixed price contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). 3)The estimated period of performance is May 02, 2016, through May 01, 2017, plus two one-year options. The place of performance is Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504 and Building 24 Engineering Services, Central Texas Veterans Health Care Facility 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco Texas, 78711. The contracting office is Network Contracting Office 17, VISN 17, Network Contracting Activity, located at 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229. 4)DATE & TIME FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS: Offers must be submitted via email before 12:00 PM CT on April 29, 2016, to Victor Hinojosa, at victor.hinojosa@va.gov. Offers that are mailed, faxed or late will not be accepted. The contracting office intends to award a firm fixed price contract based on the evaluation factors listed in the solicitation. The resulting contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal conforms to this combined synopsis/solicitation, is found responsible, and provides the best value based on the evaluation factors in the solicitation. 5)All questions and inquiries about this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email to Mr. Hinojosa at the above email on or before April 22, 2016. All responses to questions which may affect the preparation of offers will be incorporated into a written amendment to the solicitation issued via FedBizOpps. See attached RFQ VA257-16-Q-0085
