Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center (VAMC) Togus, ME, is seeking a contractor to provide biomedical waste removal services for the VAMC and nine (9) associated satellite facilities. This is fir fixed price solicitation with an anticipated period of performance beginning May 1st, 2016 through April 30th, 2017 with four (4) one (1) year options exercised at the discretion of the government. The applicable NAICS code is 562112 and the size standard is $38.5 Million. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include: price, technical capabilities, and past performance. The solicitation is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The solicitation package will be made available on or about 4/11/2016. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of the issue at the following website: www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to the website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
