- 1) Shield Terminator D-142-50 (Quantity 16,000 EA) 2) Shiled Terminator D-142-51 (Quantity 20,000 EA) 3) Coax Terminator D-181-1224-90/9 (Quantity 1,000 EA) *PROCUREMENT TYPE The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis a manufacture sole source to TE Connectivity with competition among authorized distributors the above listing of items due to the unique low temperature melting point of 105 degrees celcius. This requires solder sleeves for terminating the ends of shielded cable assemblies that will not damage the outer jackets due to excessive heat. The solder sleeves must be compatible with existing inventory of shielded cable assemblies. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.
