- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions Sources Sought for the following: Item description: Qty 2, 3, 4 RF gun with cathode, heater, support, shield, RF shunt This is a partial electron gun assembly that includes a cathode, heater, focus electrode, shunt and associated pieces to mount and thermally isolate the cathode. A cathode is a thermionic emitter of electrons. 0.250 dia RF cathode with heater and support base QTY 2, 5,10 Is a spare cathode and heater assembly that will go into the above assembly should the cathode/heater in the above assembly fail or reach end of life Terminal block QTY 1, 2 Toroid spring for RF shunt 6(min) Adapter flange, screws, for mounting 101975 RF Gun QTY 1 each Temp Test V, I and T testing to 1050C QTY 1 each Reply to FBO posting only.
