The Government proposes to acquire on a One Time Buy contract a quantity of 20 each of a MIXER ASSEMBLY,CONT, NSN: 1615-01-537-0478, Part Number: 70400-02300-052 applicable to the BE UH 60 Blackhawk weapon system. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 20 each, 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead Time with First Article Testing is 20 each, 405 DACA,with deliveries to TEXARKANA, TX 75507-5000. This item is restricted to SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORPORATION, CAGE CODE: 78286. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar then click on AMCOM Spare Parts Manufacturer or Distributor SAR. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
