Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice, it is not a solicitation for work, nor is it a request for proposal. The Government is seeking qualified and experienced sources interested in establishing a Firm-Fixed price Contract. The government is requesting that interested concerns capable of satisfying the requirements below. (1) Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561210, which contains a size standard of $38.5 Mil, CAGE Code and DUNS Number. (3) Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described below? Please provide rationale for your answer if different from NAICS 561210. (4) The Government request information from industry as to their best practices and/or commerical Terms and Conditions. Senior Project Manager/Tenant Coordinator The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) currently occupies 11 out of the 14 floors in Building 67 located on the Denver Federal Center Campus in Lakewood, Colorado. The building is owned and operated by the General Services Administration (GSA). A multi-year/multi-phase modernization project for Building 67 has been approved and funded. Work may include, but not be limited to, building shell improvements (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.), asbestos abatement, demolition of existing tenant improvements, and construction of new tenant improvements as part of consolidation of the occupied footprint. Reclamation is seeking a qualified individual to serve as project management/tenant coordinator in support of the modernization project. The Project Manager shall operate as the liaison between the GSA representatives, a GSA design contractor, the Reclamation Senior Leadership Team, and other stakeholders throughout the planning, design, and construction process of the modernization project. The following are the duties and responsibilities of this position: • Coordinate, develop, and document consensus among Reclamation Management in support of the modernization project, including but limited to, office space, meeting space, break areas, collaborative space, and staff work space. • Establish and communicate across the project team, including but limited to Reclamation Senior Leadership, GSA Project Managers and their contractors, and other designated stakeholders the expectations and accountability necessary for project success. • Serve as a liaison to General Services Administration for the duration of the modernization project. • Develop and maintain project work plans and comprehensive schedules. • Ensure all stakeholders are aware of progress through project meetings, status reports and milestone reviews. • Establish the conceptual budget for the Reclamation Senior Leadership. • Provide technical advice to Reclamation and develop and evaluate alternate project solutions Qualifications: • 15 plus years of Project Management/Tenant Coordination experience. • Experience with the multi-year/multi-phased building renovation projects. • Experience working with General Services Administration projects, including construction and tenant improvement process, policies and requirements. • Experience in managing collaboration and developing consensus among organization executives • Architectural/technical design experience with a solid understanding of base building systems such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire life safety. • Bachelor's Degree with related Construction Management certification. • Effective and literate written and verbal communication skills. • Strong computer skills: (MS Office and MS Project) required. • Able to work independently with minimum direct supervision.
