- Description
- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA)- AFLCMC/HBAK intends to modify contract number FA8730-08-D-0001 (i. e. Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) ID/IQ contract), awarded 30 September 2008, to the Raytheon Systems Company 1001 Boston Post Road E, Marlborough, MA 01752-3770, hereafter referred to as "Raytheon". Currently the ordering period ends on 30 Sep 16 and the performance period ends on 30 Sep 2018. This document modification to the Raytheon contract previously awarded under the authority of a Justification and Approval will extend the ordering period from 30 Sep 2016 to 30 Sep 2018 and the performance period from 30 Sep 2018 to 30 Sep 2020. One hundred and two (102) delivery/task orders have been issued under FA8730-08-D-0001 to date. The total amount obligated to date is $342,928,175.00. The maximum contract amount allowed under this ID/IQ contract is $679M. The contract types which include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) will remain unchanged. This notice neither constitutes a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offers, potential offers, and others for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's contract.
