- Appendix B Argonne National Laboratory Statement of Work This is a Request For Information only. No funds exist for this requirement at this time. No contract shall result from this synopsis. The Argonne National Laboratory is a multidisciplinary science and engineering research facility owned by and funded by the U.S. Department of Energy ("DOE"). The facility is maintained and operated by UChicago Argonne, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, under Prime Contract between U.S. DOE and UChicago Argonne, LLC in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation ("FAR") Subpart 17.6 and the DOE Acquisition Regulation ("DEAR") Part 970, and pursuant to DOE Prime Contract accessible at http://www.anl.gov/contract/. More information about Argonne, its mission and activities is available at www.anl.gov. Argonne's world-class researchers are employed by UChicago Argonne, LLC. and work alongside experts from industry, academia and other government laboratories to address vital national challenges in clean energy, environment, technology and national security. Argonne is seeking expressions of interest and obtaining information from staffing companies who have demonstrated expertise in providing employer of record services for professional exempt personnel in foreign countries, including but not limited to all provinces of Canada, Greece, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Norway, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Japan, India and particularly China (Beijing). Interested companies should respond to this RFI by providing the information identified in the Appendix B Statement of Work attached to this RFI to Marjorie A. Brockman at mabrockman@anl.gov by the date identified in this notice.
