- Description
- This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. This contract will be awarded to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), 310 The Bridge Street, Huntsville, AL 35806-0002, to provide uninterrupted, high-quality continuity of operations in facilities and infrastructure sustainment. This effort is currently being performed under contract number HQ0147-10-D-0022-0007 which expires on 21 June 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541614 with a size standard of $1M for subcontracting opportunities. The resultant contract for these advisory and assistance services will be for a base period of four months with one four-month option period. This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in a "bridge" contract which is necessary to allow for continuity of critical contractor services until a competitive contract is awarded under the Technical, Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) acquisition strategy. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition in a future competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses must be received no later than April 29, 2016, 3:00 pm, central time and should be submitted to Lt Col Andrew Nordin, Contracting Officer, via email andrew.nordin@mda.mil. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
