- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 27, 2016. Description: The purpose of this contract is to secure services for performing cutting, skidding and decking on national forest land for the purpose of Site preparation on the Dutch Timber Sale within the Eiler Fire Area. Contractor shall, considering the specific tasks and critical subtasks involved, develop a plan of operations to accomplish the tasks and critical subtasks, and organize and direct all of the operations and personnel needed to fully accomplish the work. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the Government. Location: The project is located on the Hat Creek Ranger Districts, Lassen National Forest, and Shasta County, California. The legal for the project is as follows: T.34N.R.4E. Sec. 5, 7, 8, 9, 17, 20 and 21. Maps of the area will be posted with the solicitation. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than time and date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
