- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a sole source contract to JAMS, Inc. of Irvine, California to retain an expert neutral experienced in EEOC class action complaints to provide mediation services to facilitate the resolution of issues in an alternative dispute resolution process. The authority under FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(iii) allows for the use of other than full and open competition to acquire the services of an expert or neutral person for any current or anticipated litigation or dispute. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
